About the Game

Laysara: Summit Kingdom is a challenging city builder focusing on resource management, the economy and surviving despite the inhospitable environment. Build and expand your settlements in the high mountains in either a campaign or sandbox playthrough.

Carefully plan your production chains, trade networks and avalanche survival strategies to satisfy the needs of your three-caste society and make the Kingdom of Laysara thrive!

Game features:

• Build on a mountain. Each mountain offers a unique set of challenges; different shapes, vegetation zone layouts, resource availability and weather conditions.
• Deal with avalanches. Nature cannot be stopped. Plan and strategise to deal with avalanches, or watch your city be buried and devastated.
• Craft a transport network. Transporting becomes a challenge across mountain summits. Look for opportunities to optimise your transport and production networks across ridges, canyons and rivers. Glamorous yaks are always available.
• Raise a Summit Temple. Build your way up the mountain, establish a grand temple at the peak, and triumph over the elements.

About the Developer Quite OK Games

Folks with a lot of energy and a mediocre amount of enthusiasm.

Quite OK Games is a micro indie studio formed in 2021 to start working on its debut title, Laysara: Summit Kingdom. It was founded by two experienced developers: Maciek Pryc & Michał Kubas. Maciek is responsible for game design and technical aspects, and gained experience in a similar genre while developing Ancestors Legacy, a medieval RTS. Michał takes care of game vision and art, and has worked on various projects throughout his 10 years in the video game industry ‒ previously as a Lead 3D Environment Artist on Dying Light 2.

About the Publisher Future Friends Games

Future Friends was founded in 2017 with a simple mission: help indie games get the love they deserve. Though initially focused on PR, the company has now branched out into publishing, with their debut titles Omno, Exo One launching in 2021. In the last year their launches include Laysara: Summit Kingdom, Europa, Gourdlets, SUMMERHOUSE and The Cabin Factory with more very exciting unannounced things on the way!
